The Poets@KSP released their tenth anthology, Wooden Skeletons, on Sunday 29 September at the KSP Writers' Centre to great success. Distinguished WA poet Dennis Haskell launched the anthology, which contains four new poems from A. R. Levett, as well as poetry from WA poets Kaye Brand, Graeme Butler, Eileen Susan Dunn, Candy Gordon, Tony Harding, Geoffrey Lilburne, Shey Marque, Mardi May, Norma Schwind, Flora Smith, Amanda Spooner, Melinda Toginini, Mimma Tornatora, Maggie van Putten. Rose van Son, and Anna Wright. It also features poems from special guest poet Ross Donlan.
A. R. Levett's featured poems are Burden, The Cough, Medicated, and The Flock. The anthology's title was derived from a line in The Cough.
Following the launch, WA performance poet Scott Patrick Mitchell gave a great performance of some of his powerful and poignant poetry, then opened the floor to an engaging Q&A session.
Copies of Wooden Skeletons will soon be available for purchase from the Poets@KSP website: poetsonline.wixsite.com/poets-at-ksp
