Fragile
Life is lived
as a bombastic light show
laser beams pointed
at all the key moments
visual displays
sparkling with vibrant graphics
a spotlight shone
directly on us
the star of the show.
But life is a candle
slowly melting away
in the corner
of a dark room
and any moment
a wisp of wind
threatens to
blow it out.
